Dutch tyre brand introduces two new Giugiaro summer tyres
Just a few weeks after the introduction of the Apollo Aspire 4G at the prestigious International Motor Show in Geneva, Switzerland, tyre manufacturer Apollo Vredestein B.V. is preparing for yet another major launch. From 25 March to 2 April, the company will be taking over the magnificent city of Budapest with its Vredestein brand in an event that will simply be impossible to miss.
The organisation required for the event has been on a grand scale. A thousand people in total—sales teams, journalists and clients from around the world—have been invited to join the company in Budapest, where guests are staying at the Four Seasons, a luxury 5 star hotel that has been hired out for eight days. In the evenings, attendees can enjoy a spectacular show with 3D video mapping in the Museum of Applied Arts, which has been given a full Vredestein makeover for the duration of the event. Budapest's Formula 1 circuit, the Hungaroring, will also be taken over by Vredestein from 25 March to 2 April. Even for those without an invitation to the event, Vredestein's presence in the city cannot be missed. On Sunday 25 March, the brand announced its arrival in the Hungarian capital with a convoy of no less than 35 vehicles with Vredestein branding. Vredestein's presence is also apparent from a number of mega-billboards located in the city centre. In addition, Vredestein is using new media to focus extra attention on the launch of the two new summer tyres, including the introduction of the new Ultrac Vorti film with scenes that provide viewers with a 360 degree viewing experience. The tyre manufacturer has also developed a Facebook game that will provide players with the opportunity to win a trip to Barcelona together with a Facebook friend.
Vredestein has travelled to Budapest for the launch of two new summer tyres: the Ultrac Vorti and the Sportrac 5, both of which have been developed in collaboration with the Italian design house Giugiaro. The Ultrac Vorti from Vredestein represents the next generation of ultra-high-performance tyres. The sporty, comfortable Sportrac 5 is the successor to the Sportrac 3, which was awarded "best in test" for summer tyres by ADAC in 2011. Fabrizio Giugiaro, Co-Chairman & Styling Director of Italdesign Giugiaro, will be present at the event and press attendees will have the opportunity to ask him about these new additions to the Vredestein range.
