Vredestein Tires maintained a presence throughout the prestigious event on the East Coast

ATLANTA, GA October 23, 2023 – Vredestein Tires is thrilled with the response to its presence at the recent Audrain Newport Concours and Motor Week in Newport, Rhode Island. The prestigious event is a celebration of the history of sportsmanship and motoring in Newport and is rapidly cementing itself as the East Coast’s premier automotive cultural and lifestyle gathering. It spanned five days and culminated with the Audrain Newport Concours at The Breakers Mansion.

Vredestein was a Bespoke Sponsor of the 2023 Audrain Newport Concours and Motor Week (ACMW), and the only tire brand among the Audrain Motor Week sponsors, welcoming scores of automotive enthusiasts to its prominent display located in The Village at the International Tennis Hall of Fame. A 1967 Austin Healey wearing Vredestein Sprint Classics and a 1986 Mercedes-Benz 190E 2.3-16 wearing Vredestein Sprint+ tires attracted a steady stream of visitors who learned more about Vredestein’s full range of tires for classic and contemporary vehicles.

In addition to the display, a variety of cars participating in the week’s events were equipped with Vredestein tires. Whether at the Bonhams auction, the Audrain members tour, the gathering at Rough Point, or Sunday’s spectacular Concours d’Elegance at The Breakers, one could find Vredesteins fitted to several of the rare and historically significant cars on display.

The highlight of the weekend for Vredestein came when the 1960 Auto Union 1000 SP owned by Rob and Clare DiNuzzo took the Award of Merit in the European Post-War 1960-1980 category.

“Our presence at the Audrain can only be described as an overwhelming success for the Vredestein brand,” said Abhishek Bisht, Abhishek Bisht, assistant vice president, of Americas. “It was a point of immense pride to see so many interesting and important cars in the different events throughout the week equipped with our tires, from a spectacular Mercedes-Benz 300SL Gullwing to a rare BMW-Glas 3000 GT V8 owned by respected Midwest collector Myron Vernis. Our teams on the ground reported overwhelmingly positive feedback from visitors, whether they were existing Vredestein customers stopping by to say hello, or enthusiasts being introduced to our brand and our full line of products for the first time.”

Vredestein’s experience at the Audrain Motor Week will inform the brand’s approach to future in-person activations as it evaluates new opportunities to promote the brand at culturally important events that embrace and celebrate the passion and enthusiasm of the automotive hobby.

“We may have had a couple of wet days in Newport, but nothing could dampen the enthusiasm we saw firsthand from the guests in attendance and visiting our display,” added Mr. Bisht. “So many valuable lessons were learned, and we look forward to delivering even more engaging experiences in the future.”
