Atlanta, GA July 22nd, 2024, The new Vredestein Quatrac Pro+ offers best-in-class grip on wet roads and, compared to the popular Quatrac Pro, provides 5% better grip on snow and reduces rolling resistance by 5% for improved fuel efficiency. The tire's year-round performance is attributed to an advanced tread design and a new blend of compounds. Wider longitudinal grooves enable rapid water evacuation, while sipes across the center of the tread enhance water dispersal and prevent aquaplaning. The advanced compound features new-generation polymers, and a high proportion of silica and resin to enhance traction on wet surfaces and maximize steering response and stability on snow and slush.
The tire's robust outside shoulder blocks offer greater stability when cornering and possess inherent flexibility to allow longitudinal deformation of tread blocks in very cold conditions, maximizing grip on snow. The tire carries the 'Three Peak Mountain Snowflake' symbol on its sidewall, confirming its all-weather performance and efficiency in winter conditions. Compared to the Quatrac Pro, the proportion of sustainable materials used in the tire has increased by 1.5%, aligning with Apollo Tyres Ltd’s long-term environmental goals.
